HOLLY, Michigan, March 23 -- Rep. Elissa Slotkin, D-Michigan, issued the following statement in support of Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's "stay home, stay safe" order for state residents and businesses:
"I strongly support Gov. Whitmer's decision to issue a "stay home, stay safe" order for our state. This is not a decision the governor has taken likely, but let's be clear: lives are at stake.
"Michigan now has more than 1,000 COVID-19 cas . . .
