Sen. Hoeven: Senate Passes Historic Levels of Funding for Indian Country in Phase III Coronavirus Response

WASHINGTON, March 27 -- Sen. John Hoeven, R-North Dakota, chairman of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee, issued the following statement after the Senate passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, the third phase of legislation to address coronavirus response and mitigation efforts across the U.S., including American Indian and Alaska Native communities.

"We worked hard to secure necessary resources to help Tribes combat the coronavirus outbreak.
