HOUSTON, Texas, March 27 -- Rep. Sylvia Garcia, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia (TX-29), alongside Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) and Congressman Al Green (TX-09), led an effort calling on Governor Greg Abbott to ensure that the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is well equipped to quickly process and distribute unemployment insurance benefits to Texans that have been affected by this crisis and are in need of such financial assistance.< . . .
