JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO, Texas, March 26 -- The U.S. Air Force issued the following news:
Air Force officials announced, March 25, a trainee in the Air Force's basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland has tested positive for COVID-19.
The trainee, who is the first COVID-19-positive trainee at BMT, reported to BMT March 18, and as a precaution, had been placed in a restriction of movement, or ROM, status with 40 other new trainees.
