In an effort to prevent a drafting error in the coronavirus emergency legislation from incentivizing layoffs and risking life-threatening consequences to critical industries, U.S. Senators Tim Scott (SC), Ben Sasse (NE), and Lindsey Graham (SC) issued the following joint statement:
