WASHINGTON, March 24 -- Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-New York, chairwoman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, and Rep. Gerry Connolly, D-Virginia, chairman of the Subcommittee on Government Operations, issued the following joint statement after House Democrats introduced a bill with emergency funds to save the Postal Service from imminent bankruptcy as a result of the coronavirus crisis:
