WASHINGTON, March 24 -- Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Michigan, issued the following statement regarding Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's 'Stay Home, Stay Safe' emergency declaration to help stop the spread of coronavirus in the state:
"In just a short time period, the state of Michigan has gone from having zero people with COVID-19 to now more than 1,200, including 15 people who have unfortunately lost their lives to this disease. This bold action by Governor Whitmer is the right prec . . .
