WASHINGTON, March 24 -- Rep. Nydia M. Velazquez, D-New York, issued the following news release:

With thousands of Americans stranded abroad due to travel restrictions stemming from the coronavirus pandemic, Rep. Nydia M. Velazquez (D-NY) is looking to waive fees for travelers who require evacuation assistance from the U.S. Department of State. The bipartisan bill is cosponsored by Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ).
