NEW YORK, March 23 -- Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-New York, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney (D-NY), was joined by a bipartisan group of 9 of her colleagues in asking Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy to include $4 billion in emergency federal aid for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) in the federal stimulus package.
As the Members state in the letter, "MTA is experiencing a shocking loss of revenu . . .
