NEW YORK, March 21 -- New York Mayor Bill de Blasio issued the following news release on March 20:
Mayor Bill de Blasio and NYC Census 2020 called on the U.S. Census Bureau to extend 2020 Census operations to ensure a complete and accurate count of all New Yorkers in light of the many challenges and threats posed by the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Especially given that the 2020 Census is the only first census to feature the ability to self-respond to the census online . . .
