NASSAU, New York, March 21 -- New York Civil Liberties Union issued the following news release:
The Nassau County Jail Advocates are calling on County Executive Laura Curran, Interim Sheriff Dzurenda and the Public Safety Committee of the Nassau County legislature to provide a transparent COVID-19 safety plan for inmates and staff in the Nassau County Correctional Facility.
