NEW YORK, March 21 -- Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America issued the following news release:
Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America is mindful that after 17 years, many U.S. troops are still on the ground in Iraq. After the initial deployment of 175,000 troops in 2003 many more men and women have deployed overseas to serve their country.
