SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota, March 20 -- Avera Health, an integrated health system, issued the following news:
To reduce the risk of COVID-19, Avera made the difficult decision to limit visitors to one visitor per stay for each patient. This needs to be the same visitor for the duration of the patient's hospital stay.
Additional visitors are being asked to wait outside of the building and not in waiting rooms.
