WASHINGTON, March 20 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service issued the following news release:
On March 13, 2020, Vernon Black of Riverton, Wyo., (Black) a market agency selling livestock on commission subject to the Packers and Stockyards (P&S) Act, entered into a Consent Decree with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Wyoming. Black agreed to pay a civil penalty of $10,000, which includes the $4,000 civil penalty Black did not pay fro . . .
