PHOENIX, Arizona, March 17 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued the following news release:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District will begin operations to bring the water surface elevation of Alamo Lake back to its target elevation.
The WSE has risen above 1136 feet, 11 ft., over the target operating elevation of 1125. Rain predicted for later this week will likely raise the elevation further.
