WASHINGTON, March 17 -- Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Oregon, issued the following statement on the ongoing public health threat of coronavirus:
"I am continuing to closely monitor the ongoing public health threat of COVID-19 and have been in daily contact with the Oregon Health Authority. Furthermore, I have been pressing the federal government to ensure adequate resources, including increased testing capabilities, protective equipment, and medical supplies, are being made readily ava . . .
