Southeast Michigan Council of Governments Announces $6.5 Million in Funding for Walking and Biking Projects in Southeast Michigan

DETROIT, Michigan, March 14 -- The Southeast Michigan Council of Governments issued the following news release:

SEMCOG, the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments, has awarded $6.5 million in Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) funding for 12 projects.

Funding will add to Southeast Michigan's regional trail system and improve walking and biking safety

TAP projects include new pathways and pathway enhancements, new trails and trail connections, prot . . .
