WASHINGTON, March 13 -- Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., D-New Jersey, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, issued the following opening remarks on March 12 at an Environment and Climate Change Subcommittee markup of a bill (H.R. 6160) to extend the authorization for the Chemical Facility Antiterrorism Standards program and the American Innovation and Manufacturing Leadership Act (H.R. 5544):
