WASHINGTON, March 13 -- Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
U.S. Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), and Richard Burr (R-N.C.), on Wednesday sent a letter to President Trump urging him to withdraw the United States from the Open Skies Treaty (OST).
In the letter, they wrote:
"The costs of the OST go far beyond wasteful spending, and directly erode our national security . . .
