WASHINGTON, March 12 -- Rep. Lloyd Doggett, D-Texas, issued the following statement:
U.S. Representative Lloyd Doggett (D-TX), Chairman of the House Ways and Means Health Subcommittee, provided the below statement on the latest estimation from Metro Health Medical Director Junda Woo that coronavirus tests can cost up to $2400 for patients without insurance, or $480 for those with a 20% copay:
"We absolutely cannot afford for our neighbors to be priced out of corona . . .
