ALBANY, New York, March 12 -- Albany Medical Center, an academic health sciences center, issued the following news release:

Capital Region hospitals, including Albany Med and Albany Med Health System partners, Saratoga Hospital and Columbia Memorial Health; Ellis Medicine, St. Peter's Health Partners, Nathan Littauer Hospital, Glens Falls Hospital and St. Mary's Healthcare-Amsterdam, are strengthening visitation guidelines to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
