WASHINGTON, March 12 -- Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tennessee, issued the following news release:
At a hearing to review the president's fiscal year 2021 budget request for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) said Congress has now appropriated money to award the remaining contract to complete Chickamauga Lock, but it's important to provide the Corps with adequate funding to "finish the job."
