WASHINGTON, March 11 -- Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., D-New Jersey, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and Rep. Jan Schakowsky, D-Illinois, chairman of the Subcommittee on Consumer Protection and Commerce, issued the following joint statement after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended that all travelers should avoid cruises:
