SALEM, Oregon, March 11 -- Environment Oregon issued the following news release:

In response to a nearly two-week walkout by Oregon House and Senate Republicans, Gov. Kate Brown signed an executive order addressing climate change. Her action comes after the state's short 2020 legislative session came to an abrupt end last week with the Oregon legislature unable to pass meaningful climate legislation.
