WASHINGTON, March 11 -- Rep. Greg Walden, R-Oregon, issued the following remarks:
Representative Greg Walden (R-OR) joined GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Rep. Bruce Westerman (R-AR), and other Members of Congress at a press conference on The Trillion Trees Act. The legislation would help decrease carbon emissions by ensuring the U.S. does its part in achieving the goal of one trillion trees planted globally by 2050.
