WASHINGTON, March 11 -- Rep. Josh Gottheimer, D-New Jersey, issued the following statement on March 9 on New Jersey declaring a public health state of emergency due to the coronavirus:
"Today, New Jersey declared a state of emergency, as there are currently 11 presumed positive cases of coronavirus in our state.
"It is critical that New Jersey continue working with our hospitals, health facilities, frontline medical professionals, communities, and the federal . . .
