WASHINGTON, March 10 -- Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-New York, issued the following news release:
Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1) called for the reinstatement of the full State and Local Tax (SALT) deduction as part of tax relief legislation in an economic stimulus package responding to the coronavirus outbreak.
Last Congress, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (H.R. 1) placed a $10,000 cap on the State and Local deduction.
