IRVING, Texas, March 7 -- The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame issued the following news release:
The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame expressed its sorrow at the passing on March 5 of Jimmie McDowell, who joined the NFF in 1964 as the director of public relations and subsequently served as executive director of the organization from 1970 to 1991. He was 93.
