WASHINGTON, March 7 -- Rep. Kevin Brady, R-Texas, ranking Republican member of the House Ways and Means Committee, issued the following statement in response to the Labor Department's February jobs report:
"A sound economy is key to facing global storms - and today's jobs report shows that our workforce remains strong, helping our economy to withstand the impact of the coronavirus.
"Adding 273,000 jobs last month and with unemployment remaining at half-centur . . .
