WASHINGTON, March 7 -- Rep. Andre Carson, D-Indiana, issued the following statement on March 6 regarding coronavirus in Indiana:
"Today the Indiana State Department of Health announced the first instance of a presumptive-positive case of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in our state. Following this announcement, Governor Holcomb declared a public health emergency to streamline our state's response to this virus.
"Indiana is the 20th state in our country to confirm cases . . .
