WASHINGTON, March 6 -- Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, ranking Republican member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, issued the following joint statement with Rep. Eliot L. Engel, D-New York, about the Hong Kong authorities' arrests of newspaper founder Jimmy Lai and former Legislative Council members Lee Cheuk-yan and Yeung Sum.
