LANSING, Michigan, March 6 -- Michigan Association of School Boards issued the following statement by Executive Director Don Wotruba in response to the introduction of legislation to remove sales and use taxes from gasoline:
"We agree that roads and infrastructure are a priority for Michigan, but those priorities must be accomplished alongside the education of Michigan's children.
