WASHINGTON, March 6 -- Rep. John Carter, R-Texas, issued the following statement after supporting $7.8 billion in emergency funding to address the coronavirus:
"This legislation will help state and local health departments respond to the Coronavirus, while expediting a vaccine, providing diagnostic testing, and purchasing much-needed medical supplies.
