WASHINGTON, March 6 -- Rep. Paul Mitchell, R-Michigan, issued the following news release:
This week the House Foreign Affairs Committee advanced the No Passport Fees for Heroes' Families Act (H.R. 2847), which waives passport fees for family members obtaining a passport to visit an injured servicemember overseas. This bill was introduced in May of 2019 by Congressman Paul Mitchell (R-MI), Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA), Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC), and Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA).
