WASHINGTON, March 5 -- Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-New York, chairwoman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, issued the following statement on March 4 after the passage of the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act (H.R. 6074):
"We're in the middle of a public health emergency, and Congress has a duty to do everything in our power to keep Americans safe. This starts with providing $8.3 billion in emergency funding to help combat the coronaviru . . .
