WASHINGTON, March 5 -- Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., D-New Jersey, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, issued the following statement after the Environmental Protection Agency announced an update to the agency's strengthening transparency in regulatory science proposed rule:
"Administrator Wheeler's latest attempt to restrict the use of sound science in EPA's decision-making ignores the criticism their last proposal received - both from the public and from the Agency . . .
