WASHINGTON, March 5 -- Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-Maine, issued the following statement on a bicameral, bipartisan emergency supplemental appropriations bill (H.R. 6074) to address the coronavirus outbreak:
"Although Maine does not have any confirmed cases of coronavirus, we must be prepared to respond to this growing public health problem. This bipartisan funding bill demonstrates that both Democrats and Republicans agree that we need a fully-funded, coordinated government respon . . .
