WASHINGTON, March 5 -- Rep. Tomaz Malinowski, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release:
The House passed a bipartisan and bicameral $8.3 billion emergency supplemental appropriations bill in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic. The package provides funding for vaccine development, support for state and local governments, and assistance for affected small businesses.
The initial request by the Administration of $2.5 billion to fight COVID-19 was insuff . . .
