WASHINGTON, March 5 -- Rep. Thomas Suozzi, D-New York, issued the following news release:
The House Committee on Foreign Affairs passed Congressman Tom Suozzi's (D-Long Island, Queens) bipartisan resolution which shows support for the alliance between the United States and the Republic of Korea.
The legislation has almost 40 bipartisan cosponsors in the House. An identical resolution was unanimously approved by the full Senate earlier this year.
