WASHINGTON, March 5 -- Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-New York, issued the following letter:
House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) and Rep. Nydia Velazquez (D-NY) sent a joint letter to the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) and the Warden of the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) in lower Manhattan responding to reports that the MCC has been in a lockdown for over five days, with inmates' access to basic hygiene and outside visitation--including legal counsel--being restricted. . . .
