WASHINGTON, March 5 -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued the following event notification (No. 54556) involving the Texas power reactor in Texas:
FITNESS-FOR-DUTY REPORT - CONTRACT SUPERVISOR CONFIRMED POSITIVE TEST
A non-licensed contract employee supervisor had a confirmed positive for illegal drugs during a random fitness-for-duty test. The employee's access to the plant has been terminated.
The licensee notified the NRC Resident Inspector.
