WASHINGTON, March 3 -- Rep. Joe Courtney, D-Connecticut, issued the following news release on March 2:
Congressman Joe Courtney (D-CT), Chairman of the House Armed Services Seapower and Projection Forces Subcommittee, questioned Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Admiral Michael M. Gilday about the Navy's 2021 budget request, which included a reduction in Virginia-class production next year from two submarines to one.
