ALBANY, New York, Feb. 28 -- The Alliance for Quality Education issued the following statement by Executive Director Jasmine Gripper in response to the comments from New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo as reported by Politico:
"Governor Cuomo says he wants to fund schools based on need, but the biggest opposition to making that happen is the Governor himself. The 2007 Foundation Aid formula does not follow the shares agreement, yet the budget that Governor Cuomo has proposed this year . . .
