CINCINNATI, Ohio, Feb. 28 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) praised the Department of Transportation (DOT) for awarding a $4.7 million grant to Southwest Ohio Rail Transit Authority (SORTA) for funding in the Consolidated Rail Infrastructure Safety and Improvements grant program.
These improvements include the repair of two bridges and a tunnel as well as upgrades to two local freight yards and the main line . . .
