TRENTON, New Jersey, Feb. 27 -- The New Jersey Association for Mental Health and Addiction Agencies issued the following news release:

Eating disorders are often misunderstood illnesses. This is due to the misconception that eating disorders, such as anorexia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, and bulimia nervosa, are lifestyle choices. However, these disorders are serious, biologically based and often associated with fatal illnesses that are related to critical disturbances in people' . . .
