State Bar of Arizona: Proposed Rule Changes Affecting the Practice of Law

PHOENIX, Arizona, Feb. 26 -- The State Bar of Arizona issued the following news release:

The Arizona Supreme Court is considering a rule-change petition that would have effects on the practice of law. Among the possible changes would be the elimination of the prohibition on lawyers and nonlawyers jointly operating a law office. That change and others are viewed by proponents as a significant effort needed to close the Access to Justice Gap.
