GARDEN CITY, New York, Feb. 26 -- Adelphi University issued the following news:
President Christine M. Riordan has been elected chair of the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities (CICU) in New York. Dr. Riordan joined the organization's board of trustees in 2018 and became a member of its executive committee in 2019. She was named vice-chair last year and will now fill a two-year term as chair, effective February 25, 2020.
