WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, issued the following statement on Feb. 25 after voting in favor of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (S. 311), which ensures legal protections for babies born alive following the failure of an attempted abortion:
