Air Force Selects 1,184 in Senior Master Sergeant Promotion Cycle; List Posts March 3

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas, Feb. 26 -- The U.S. Air Force issued the following news:

Air Force officials have selected 1,184 master sergeants for promotion to senior master sergeant out of 15,544 eligible for a selection rate of 7.62% in the 20E8 promotion cycle.

While this selection rate is lower than in previous years, the 20E8 promotion allocations meet global requirements for Air Force senior master sergeants.
