WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Rep. Anthony Brindisi, D-New York, issued the following statement:
Congressman Anthony Brindisi joined Major League Baseball (MLB) officials, New York Mets executives, Binghamton Rumble Ponies leaders, and other elected officials for a summit on how to keep the Rumble Ponies in Binghamton. Following the meeting, Brindisi issued the following statement:
"We had a productive meeting today and I want to thank Mr. Hughes, the MLB, the Wilpon fami . . .
